Sachin Tendulkar: Super Cricketer

When we talk about cricket there is one name always stands up. That is Sachin Tendulkar India’s greatest every cricketer. He has many cricketing records under his belt. He born on 24th April 1973 in Mumbai and become cricketer at the age of 15.

Early Life:

Sachin Tendulkar father Ramesh Tendulkar was a novelist. His brother Ajit encouraged him to play cricket. He started playing cricket in his school days. He has taken cricket seriously as a profession from the age of 11. In his school days he involved in a record partnership of unbroken 664 runs with his friend and teammate Vinod Kambli. In which Tendulkar scored unbeated 326 runs. When he practices in the nets his coach put a one-rupee coin in the stumps. In case if sachin survives the whole session without loosing his wicket then he can take the coin otherwise the bowler who gets him out can take the coin. This really made him to play long innings without loosing his wicket. Like this Sachin has 13 coins which he regards as one of his valuable possessions. When he was 14 years old Gavaskar gave him his pads. This is one of moral booster for him in cricket.

Social Activities:

He helps 200 children every year through charitable institution which is associated with his mother-in-law. Each and every celebrity or player must follow him in charitable works in their respective fields. This is one of the remarkable works done by him. Helping others especially children is a great thing.

Domestic Career:

He made his domestic career debut in 11th December 1988 in which he scored a brilliant century. At that time he was only 15 years and 232 days old. He is the only player to score a century in the entire major domestic championships debut. He also played county cricket in his early career.

Debut:

He made his Test Cricket and One Day International debut versus Pakistan. In his test debut he scored 15 runs. In One day he was dismissed for a duck. He scored his maiden test century versus England. His maiden One Day International century came against Australia in 1994 in his 75th match. After that he scored many centuries and become the leading scorer and century maker in the world of cricket.

Skipper:

He also captained Indian Team for tenures. But he was unable to provide results as expected. So, he was succeeded by Ganguly as captain in 2000. He always provides strategic inputs to the team whenever needed. So far many of his strategic moves worked out very well and lead team to victory.

Records:

He has unbelievable records in the world of cricket. He is the top run getter in both Test and One Day cricket. He has a record of most number of centuries in Tests and well as One Day Internationals. So far won many man of the matches and series awards. He won many of the top awards presented by India.

Conclusions:

He has a humble and kind behavior with other peoples. This is of course the trademark of Sachin Tendulkar. Many international cricketers modeled themselves on Sachin because of his brilliant techniques and good nature.
