IPL-2012-An Interesting Turn on Hand

We all do have our own favourite teams whenever the IPL starts. Don’t all of you too have too? The choice of the favourite teams could vary with every season of IPL for a number of individuals. On April 4th, 2012, the IPL kick starts on with nine teams at loggerhead with one another.

IPL-2012 brings in various questions on hand for which the answer will be available to us only in the month of May, 2012 on the 27th to be precise. A famous figure and a popular name reckons in the cricketing field whether in Test Matches, the One Dayers or in the T-20’s. Yeah, you are absolutely right!! He is none other than Sachin Tendulkar, the Master Blaster.

Sachin Tendulkar, a great cricketer and after he had achieved his hundredth century against Bangladesh, his values has remained with him still quite intact. As such, he had handed over the Captaincy of Mumbai to Harbhajan Singh. Though he could have continued to lead Mumbai as the Captain of the team, he did not do it and felt that this was the right time to hand over the captaincy of Mumbai to Harbhajan Singh. This really shows how humble Sachin Tendulkar has been. He is not only a ‘Master Blaster’, but a ‘Master of Values’ too. Inspite of been at the top, his feet has been touching the ground too at the same time. May his tribe increase by leaps and bounds. Hopefully, this would be a lesson for the younger generation and the adults of today, how to keep achieving your aims by not disregarding your own values on the other hand.

Though there have been calls for the retirement of Sachin Tendulkar, it won’t be that easy for a new player to fill up his boots as he also needs to keep his values intact without comprising on his own values, which may prove a bit difficult at times but moving forward he could learn of balancing his aims with his own values.

Would we see the Master Blaster returning to his old self during this IPL? Only time would tell but he would surely like to give himself a good start and go all out ‘blazing his gun’.

It’s really going to be a difficult task to predict the winner of this IPL this season as the IPL would be missing out on some key players and the mostly missed of all this players would be Yuvraj Singh. It’s not an easy task to battle cancer and we only come to know about the situation only when one of our relatives have been affected by this disease. This shows that Yuvraj Singh has a very strong attitude and in the future he would surely be leading the Indian team as the ‘Captain’.

Looking at the teams in the IPL this season,  Kolkatta Knight Riders is the team to look out for along with Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians would be the next to follow but never underestimate Royal Challenger’s Bangalore and Pune Warriors as these are the dark horses which can tilt the tables of any other teams on any given day. Who would take the lead and come out with flying colours amongst the mentioned bowler’s herein-Sreesanth, Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh and Lakshmipathy Balaji needs to be seen. Among the Rajasthan Royals most eyes will remain glued on Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly as Pune Warrior’s Captain and Sehwag as the Captain of Delhi Daredevils and Harbhajan Singh as Mumbai’s Captain.

Parthiv Patel would also try to do his best during this IPL wherein he will have to struggle hard as he will have to face stiff competition from Saha & MS Dhoni.
