Tungod, Inabanga, Bohol– The moment Pretty Old Floyd Mayweather Sr. opened his unusually huge mouth to express his appreciation of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s almost unbelievable (especially to the Mayweather family) achievements following the Pinoy pug’s destruction of top welterweight Miguel Cotto – a bewildered appreciation resulting to reprehensible malice at that, Pacquiao misanthropists immediately jumped into the basket in an effort to spoil the bun. A great opportunity to try to pull the poor Pinoy down was too good of a chance to pass up on. Hence, the usual suspects surfaced.
In this piece, we are going to discuss some points that might help us determine whether it’s envy that’s driving these people to continue to push for this issue or just plain stupidity.
Let’s jumpstart with Paulie Malignaggi’s recent interview with Oliver Suarez of www.sportzhypeboxing.com. Magic Man was quoted as saying “No one moves up in weight and takes punches that easy from bigger guys. Not even superman..No one can beat Pacquiao if he’s fighting like a superhero, would be a tough fight.”Quite apparently, he’s still at awe… mesmerized… and perplexed. I’m not surprised at how significantly he’s undervalued Pac’s innate talent, skills and ability to take a punch, though… can’t you see? He doesn’t even respect superman’s toughness! LOL! Quite frankly, Magic Man is way over his head on this drug issue.
Then there was the great (pretender?)know-it-all Teddy Atlas reporting on ESPN about an incriminating email that he’s not even sure existed. Now, the heavy burden of proof rests profoundly on his shoulders. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words so I’ll just post hereunder an electronic parody created by www.forum.philboxing.com resident artist Art Garcia.
Dennis “dSource” Guillermo recently reported about Roger Mayweather’s extremely comical interview regarding the same issue. “That mother***** (Pacquiao) is on the A-side meth, that’s what the f*** he’s on,” “It’s called the A-side meth. He on that or he on something else. The A-side methis what they used to have 500 years ago. Remember when the Philippines were fightingthe US soldiers? They were shooting them motherf****s with 45s. And 45s were bouncing off their motherf****ng a$$. They weren’t even dying,” Roger Mayweather was quoted as saying. Guillermo more than satisfactorily refuted Pretty Uncle Mayweather’s wild accusations in his article “Pacquiao-Mayweather steroids of drama takes a comedic turn.”
In all sincerity, these accusations are nothing short of ridiculous. Come to think of it… if we are going to take these allegations seriously just because of the idea that Pacquiao has successfully moved up in weight with relative ease, then we might as well question the legitimacy and greatness of Duran, De La Hoya, Armstrong, and even Robinson, just to name a few. If these people only learn to give credence to the fact that Pacquiao is among if not the most disciplined and hardworking athletes when it comes to training, then they’d almost certainly embrace Pacman’s greatness and in the process save themselves some embarrassment. Just curious, has any of these guys actually witnessed Pacquiao train? Haven’t these guys heard that Pacquiao is always having much bigger guys, even middleweights, as sparring partners? Have they seen Pacquiao repeatedly beaten by a wooden stick? Perhaps, they should try it, too. Furthermore, if their purpose is to demean the Filipino firebomb in an otherwise concerted attempt to pull him down, then they have failed… miserably… and by the looks of it, might even have propelled Pacquiao to far greater heights. The tickets to the Pacquiao – Clottey showdown have already been sold out, haven’t they?
Now that all’s been said and done, one question lingers. What’s really driving these guys to continue pushing for this Pacquiao-on-drugs issue? I can only think of two possibilities… or perhaps the combination of both.

pac agreed to be blood tested 3x incuding 1 in his locker room immediately after the fight, if he’s on roid it will still show.
pac gets thrown out of his system if blood is drawn near the fight just like what happened in his frist bout with morales, it’s on you tube, pacquaio interview by dong puno 2005. if superman’s weakness is the kryptonite, it’s pac’s krytonite, blood test near the fight which the gayweather camp found out before they actually challenged pac ;> clever…

Mayweather is simply a genuine joke and doesn’t deserve to be listened at in the first place. Luckiy for him, there are people who don’t know how to think soundly and just well continue to believe in him and his antics
wowb it hard t to believe, if its true how come that no piipino athlete got a gold medal in olympic? if we have this so called A Side Meth Drug for sure 100% Pacman will share this drug to all Pilipino Boxers and all of them will be world champion and no other except all pilipino. What the Mayweather’s are doing are mostly out of hatred of Pacquio’s achivements that became a real greatness to the world of boxing.The retirement of Floyd in my thinking does lessen his immense marketability and further lost it’s meaning when Pacquiao claimed the p4p no. 1 status and the only fighter that have won 7 championship belts in seven different divisions..Now they need to regain it at all cost ,and no matter what and those accusations continue now in different form ,but just the same accusations against Manny’s hard earned clean reputation in boxing while achieving his height of greatness. So, definitelymanny unintentionally landed on their plate without even yet having to fight Floyd.It might end a win for Pacquiao by default if the equation remains the same.It’s Floyd’s mess it’s Floyd unmessing it.
honestly. it pisses me off that teddy atlas, mike and mike, and many other main stream reporters and sports analysis are questioning why manny wont accept the mayweathers demands for the drug testing, and why manny would turn down that much money for a blood test.
im a filipino but grew up with american family and friends and many of my american friends are also acussing manny of taking drugs. personally i know that the root of the “american dream” is about money. im not saying that americans are just about money but the truth is that it almost basicly is.
so as a resident of both country i understand why those reporters and sport analysis are “dissing” manny. but these guys are professionals they need to study both sides before questioning manny’s actions. we filipinos pride for respect we even have wierd words to show signs of respect. and when someone like floyd says “bow down” to a 3rd world country, with no world wide hero such as manny, hero, you really expect him to bow? if floyd would of asked manny, to take the test, respectfully, i have no doubt that manny would have agreed to it.
about the 40 million dollars. manny does not need money anymore he is happy to be living in a 3rd world country that he considers his home. manny does not stress enough that he has his country on his back whenever he fights and its always for them. he gives away 80% of his earnings to philippines. doesnt that say something?
all im saying is that they need to study and look at both sides before they start reporting. they are making americans look igorant in the eyes of many people. they get paid ALOT to study these things, earn your dollar.

Roger Mayweather could have picked up this A-Side Meth from a street vendor beside the Quiapo Manila church where Manny Pacquiao usually go after every fight to give thanks to God. You can find beside this church a lot of vendor selling A-GI-MAT or amulet in English. Roger Mayweather maybe went to the Philippines in disguise as a monkey to investigate and end up talking to one of these vendors. Maybe one of them told him that Pacman is having an A-GI-MAT that can make anybody very strong, bullet proof and even invisible. Roger not understanding the local dialect misunderstood it as A-SIDE-METH. Most probably he bought 3 dozens of this A-GI-MAT so his baby Pretty In Pink Floyd Jr. can use it too.
Teddy made that comment just for the sake of having a different news in the mainstream media. During those times we’ve been hearing almost the same news so to be quite different, he tried to be risky. And also we all know that he’s a pro-Floyd, that’s a given fact. But everything blew up in his face coz’ till now no such email has came up nor Mayweathers didn’t even acknowledged any such emails from Team Pacquiao. Just my two centavos.

Why are so many ignorant fans of Mayweather blame Manny Pacquiao for the fall down of they supposed showdown? Manny isn’t the only one who let go a $40M purse. The blame should be on Mayweather for asking such ridiculous drug testing 14 days before fight. If Floyd have agreed to change the date to 24 days instead of 14 days, the fight would not fall off. Floyd was just to scared to lose and the negotiation is his last card to get away with a Pacquiao fight. Other fight fans have been Brainwashed by the fake PED allegation by the Mayweather that’s why they still believe that Pacman is using PED. They didn’t know a thing about filipino’s hardwork and dedications.
