The New York Knicks

I’ve been since I was a little kid a very loyal Knicks fan. I have been with them during the good days and during the bad times. The problem is I really haven’t seen any good days for years already. The last time I enjoyed watching the Knicks I believe was in the 1998-1999 season when they reached the NBA FINALS with Allan Houston, Latrell Sprewell, and Marcus Camby on that team. Even though they haven’t done any good especially since the Isiah Thomas era, I still have said that I’m a Knicks fan. Even when I see other great teams in the playoffs and not this one, I still tell my friends and families that I’m a Knicks fan no matter what. Now as a Knicks fan I’m getting tired of hearing about the 2010 free agency market. This shows the Knicks have no respect for their fans and it is very frustrating. I say this because the people that are waisting their valuable money to watch them play, I ask myself, “Why are you doing this?” If they aren’t going to win this season because they are waiting for next season then what’s the point of waisting our money on them. I just hope they can change the way they see the game and try to go for a playoff run for the sake of all their Knicks fan, and forget about the 2010 free agency until it actually does arrive because I know that this team does have the skills and talent to compete.
