Rocket Injured All-Star Group Inspires Big Win
With Dikembe Mutombo, Yao Ming, and Tracy Mcgrady on the bench unable to play due to injury, one might think the edge belonged to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Rockets came to play . They came out with alot of energy . Shane Battier hit four early three
pointers to set the tone. The Lakers always seemed a step behind. Aaron Brooks was hitting from all
angles on his way to a career high 34 points. Shane Battier who shares the defensive assignments
on Kobe Bryant , with Ron Artest , scored 23 points. Luis Scola , the Argentinian battled the Laker
big men inside, scored 11 points and pulled down 14 rebounds.
The Lakers were totally embarrassed in this game from the start. The Rockets jumped to a 29 point
lead at one point .They also got a possible break , in the fact that Lamar Odom went down hard on his back
and had to leave the game , and will probably miss the rest of the series !The Rockets basically played a
perfect game with their two All-stars, and one former All-star as cheerleaders on the bench ! The final
score 99-87 in favor of the Rockets evens the series at 2-2 . This was a very big win for the Rockets,
since they found out a day before that their center, Yao Ming will also be out for the remainder of the
playoffs.
