Game 1: January 15 10:30 Phoenix Suns AT Denver Nuggets
The Suns look to extend their 3 game winning streak to 4 this week when they travel into Denver. Expect a close match up between to well balanced teams. In their first meeting this year in Phoenix the suns won the game 108 to 101, where Amare Soudemire put up a double with 27 points and 10 rebounds. You can expect this to happen again as he is my fantasy pick for this game. Another good pick up for your fantasy team is Hilario of the Nuggests. Im predicting 15 points and 10 bounds for Brazilian Hiliario and a solid 25 points and 10+ rebounds for Amare. With Denver missing star forward Carmelo Anthony, this will allow tighter defense and more double teams to slow down Hilario and Billups. Take the underdogs here. Suns win 104 to Nuggets 98.
Game 2: January 16 10:30 Orlando Magic AT Los Angeles Lakers
This is a tough game to pick. The Los Angeles Lakers have been hit hard recently with injuries placing many of their on the injury list. Kobe is listed Day-to-Day but a sure start and as almost every game Kobe plays in, a good fantasy pick. Usually I would pick Dwight Howard as a solid pick but not in this game (STILL PLAY HIM IF YOU HAVE HIM) but look for other players to come up big especially the shooters, Turkohulu, Nelson, and a little surprise look for Bogans the Magic Shooting Guard to come up clutch. When Dwight gets the ball expect the double teams on the inside to open up the outside shooters. Orlando is hot now with a 5 game winning streak and not just beating teams but destroying teams. Pick ‘em to win 99 to 86.
Game 3: January 17 10:00am Sunderland vs Aston Villa
Both teams are in good form especially Aston Villa on a 2 game winning streak winning their last 4 out 5. Sunderland though shouldn’t be taken to lightly. Dijibril Cisse, Sunderland leading goal scorer is a sure pick to score or assist. But Aston Villa’s Gabriel Agbonlahor is an even better pick to score or maybe even score two or three. Expect big things from a good Aston Villa team. Take Aston Villa for sure pick to win and very likely blowout a good but under preforming Sunderland team.
