And with that, an NBA lockout that lasted much longer term, according to several reports Saturday morning. The league and players revived the talks during the week of Thanksgiving in hopes of saving the game on Christmas Day. after NBA Players Union was dissolved following a breakdown of talks earlier this month, has come, finally, seriously, resulting in a tentative agreement to end the blockade after marathon talks on Black Friday . 

The report comes from Ken Berger, who has been duly rethinking of the negotiations through the blockade.

In a press conference to announce the tentative agreement, David Stern and Billy Hunter details on what this means. 

Popa We are optimistic … that the NBA season is going to happen on December 25, Christmas Day, with a triple header. Stern: We are optimistic that will take place ourselves and we will have a season in the NBA. 

Hunter: We will make all the lawyers … and see how to proceed. 

Stern press conference will be tomorrow with the labor relations committee. Hunter also refuses to discuss details before sharing w / players.

Free agency and the training camps are scheduled to open on 9 December, and the creation of what should be a fun trip. All this is subject to ratification and reform as a union NBPA.
