Michael Jordan Could Have Won 12 Straight NBA Championships From 1991 to 2002

His Airness is my idol in sports. If the NBA was not contaminated by corrupt business and politics within the Chicago Bulls franchise on the management level, and His Airness did not have to deal with his father being murdered, then His Airness would have won six NBA championships plus the NBA championships in 1994, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 and then retire!

Michael Jordan is the greatest NBA player ever. No other NBA player will outmatch his competitiveness and his will. Only petty politics and petty business from a greedy jeolous management of the CHicago Bulls and the death of his father both hindered MJs path to beat Bill Russell, who won 11 NBA championships with the Boston Celtics.

The Incomparable NBA champion Bill Russell with 11 NBA championsips! Michael Jordan could have won 12 straight from 1991 to 2002 if his father did not die and Jerry Krause in the Chicago Bulls management cooperated with Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan in business decisions, trade acquisitions, and salary caps.

His Airness had to face the likes of Jerry Krause and Jerry Reinsdorf, the leaders in management of the Chicago Bulls. They endorsed salary caps that upset Scottie Pippen, and also endorsed trades that upset Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson. By the time the 1997-1998 season started, a war was broiling between MJ/Pippen/Jackson against Reinsdorf and Krause. Krause the main culprit. MJ hated him the most. Reinsdorf was the one who was gullible to Krause’s own ambitions, which was not compatible witht the ambitions of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Phil Jackson.

Jerry Reinsdorf, owner of Chicago Bulls. He was gullible to Jerry Krause, the nemesis of MJ/Scottie Pippen/Phil Jackson in the late 90s.

Jerry Krause, co-owner of Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, was Micheal Jordan’s chief nemesis who hindered MJs quest to gain 12 straight NBA championships because of petty politics and business decisions.

So, because of Krause, Michael had enough. And because Michael’s father died, MJ retired in 1993. But, if the Krause dilemma and the death of his father did not happen, Michael Jordan was hungry to defeat Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets in the NBA Finals in 1994 and 1995. Michael Jordan, despite regular season stats that Hakeem the Dream and the Rockets were better than the Chicago Bulls, had the will and competitive drive to take it into his own hands to make the NBA Finals the arena to end all debates: Chicago with Micheal Jordan in his prime would win the 1994 and 1995 NBA championships in either 6 or 7 games.

MJ admitted that Hakeem was better than him in regular season games in 1992 and 1993, but the 1994 and 1995 NBA Finals are not the same as the regular season. MJ would shut up all the critics and the debates and reign as champion, both in 6 or 7 games.

Also, Jordan admitted he could easily topple the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 in 4 or 5 games. So, Jordan could easily grasp his 9th straight NBA title.

Young Tim Duncan and Robinson would be in awe of Michael Jordan’s will to win. A defeat in 4 ot 5 games in the 1999 NBA Finals, after MJ and the Bulls defeats the New York Knicks in the 1999 Eastern Conference Championships series.

And then there were Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal with the Los Angeles Lakers. It would be funny to see Jordan and Phil Jackson defeat them 3 times in a row (2000 to 2002) to finally give MJ his 12th straight NBA title and retire with grace! Yes, I feel Kobe and Shaq would make it to the Finals without Phil Jackson as coach, but with another NBA coach just as great as him. It would have been Pat Riley! Now that is a rivalry revived again from the New York Knicks era of the 1990s! Yes, if Phil Jackson was not coach of the Kobe/Shaq Lakers of the beginning of the 21st century, Pat Riley would have signed in and try to defeat Jordan in the Finals.

If Riley failed to defeat Jordan in the Eastern Conference Playoffs in New York with the Knicks (the 1991, 1992, 1993, and the 1995 eastern conference playoffs) and in Miami with the Heat (the 1996 and 1997 eastern conference playoffs), then he would try to redeem himself by being coach of the LA Lakers in the beginning of the 21 century, a clean slate for him to start new with an agenda to defeat Jordan! Riley was defeated 6 times by Jordan in the Eastern Conference Playoffs in the 1990s! Imagine the Tylenol pills Riley consumed! Riley would have redeemed himself BIG TIME by being head coach of the LA Lakers in the start of the 21st century. Besides, he won 5 NBA championships as coach of the Lakers back in the 1980s. He would use that as a confidence builder to topple Michael Jordan. And, a new rivalry would be revived and the NBA would have phenomenal ratings worldwide like never before from 1999 to 2002! It would have been an epic saga indeed!

Pat Riley, coach of LA Lakers with Kobe and Shaq from 1999 to 2002, and defeated 3 times by Michael Jordan in the 2000, 2001, and 2002 NBA Finals! Hehehe Hahaha! Lots of Tylenol pills for poor Riley!

Michael Jordan could have done this mythic feat if Krause and the death of his father did not interfere.

very good on i strongly believed it could have happen if the chicago owners did do their part. u have willing guys who will go out on do their job on the court, ur arena sold out actually every night y not give the guys what they wanted on let the champion reings. i always love that team, they were dangerous players especially in the play offs they were like a pit bull hungry wen they smell blood.

You make a terrific point but because it didn’t happen alot of people won’t see it that way.He would have won 12 titles because for a guy who won 3 nba championships then sort of retired and then came back to win 3 more nba titles, how can this be such a tough feat for him.
