Meaning of NBA Championship for The Lakers

The meaning of the NBA Championship for the Lakers is the usual great since of achievement and celebration.  This championship though has more meaning for Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson maybe than any other one they have ever had.  Kobe Bryant now gets to step out of Shaq’s shadow and prove that he can win a championship as the sole star on a team.  As he says he does not have to listen to any more of that idiotic criticism anymore.  For Phil Jackson he has now passed his Red Auerbach’s record.  With NBA titles Phil Jackson’s doubters who believed he would never surpass Red Auerbach.  In the press conference Phil Jackson jokes that he smoke a cigar for Red.  Uniting together Phil and Kobe, two basketball legends, earned a championship for the ages that lost all criticism for them.
