On Monday May 4th 2009, LeBron James was announced MVP. He is now the second youngest person to ever recieve this prestigious award. During the middle of the season the battle was close with Kobe Bryant trailing LeBron by only a few votes. Then the beast inside LeBron came out. He brought his team to the best record in NBA history. He averaged 28.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. With stats like those, how could he not win it? Now some may argue that Kobe Bryant is better, so lets compare stats. Kobe has 26.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. Now you understand? The Kobe-LeBron debate will go on forever, but for this season LeBron has it 1-0.
