Michael Jordan, David Robinson, John Stockton and Jerry Sloan, the Class of 2009, arguably the best class to be inducted in the hall of fame. Each one gives a different style of basketball. The players have made huge impact in the game of basketball. For this we thank you. In return let us put your names in the hall of fame that no one will ever forget that you people made us love the game more, more than ever you realized.

Who can forget the days of Michael Jordan made every player now believe they can fly. It is due to hard work and perseverance that Jordan has overcome the obstacles in life. We know that he was cut in his high school varsity, but never gave-up and now we know him as the greatest player who ever played the game. We love you not only for your breath taking dunks, not only for your fade-away shot that would win the games, not only for your great defense, but most important of all you’re the great role model for all the next generations to come, may it be a basketball player or a kid aspiring to be one.

David Robinson “The admiral” when did we saw a big man moves as fine as a guard? It was him who revolutionized the center spot. We can never forget the way he dominated the court on both ends. He is one competitive player, we know he wants to win turned the Spurs to a winning team when he enter at the aged of 24. I salute you sir for your accomplishments.

John Stockton arguable the best pure point guard who ever played the game, a player who not only can play offense but lock down defense. All time leader in assist and steals. It is his poise and determination that made him the great player he is. He was know to be one of Utah’s dynamic duo we can always here the commentator say “Stockton to Malone”. I certainly won’t forget those times. So for you to be enshrined in the hall of fame I say congratulation.

We may never see the important role of a coach, but for sure they are the one who made every adjustment. They are the one who made the plays. They motivate and made the decisions to make the team better, and Jerry Sloan is this man for the Utah Jazz. We would be the person who keeps the team together when it is falling apart. Utah was better when he is the coach. With the forth most wins as a coach in the NBA, this is just a proof of his excellent coaching skill. For you sir I’m proud to say thanks to you and congratulation.

They made their mark, they made what basketball is now, they made the game we love better and inspired the next generations to strive better.
