Okay everybody is waiting to see who the new 2009 NBA champions are. Well let me tell you who’s going to win. It’s going to be the Lakers. There are currently 4 teams in the ball game still. The Denver Nuggets, Cleavland Cavilers, Orlando Magic, and Lakers. Let’s analyze what each team brings to the plate.
Let’s first start off with the Denver Nuggets. There a veteran team with a young gun that wants to win. They are officially a contending team for the 2009 championship. With the added great point guard Chauncey Billups the Nuggets have a chance to win. Every since they got Billups the team has done way better. No offense to the A.I fans, Billups is just a better fit for Denver. On the other side of the court is the more mature and grown up Carmelo Anthony. When this kid came into the league he was an amazing all around super star already. Now with the guide respected point guard he has developed into working with his team. Over all the Nuggets have a chance to go all the way. The chance is very slim thought that’s because the are playing the L.A. Lakers. The Nuggets will lose in game 6.
Now we talk about the Orlando Magic. Wow these guys are sure contenders now. Just a couple of years ago when you mentioned the Magic people would just laugh. They aren’t laughing now when they step on the court with the Magic all the players now what there getting. The one and only super man Dwight Howard. This guy is the most dominant center since Shaq came into the league. Shaq is an old timer now so it’s Howard’s time. On top of having a big man who can block shots, get boards, score, and intimidate other players, the Magic have all these three point shooters, Ra shed Lewis, Hedo Turgkulu, Courtney Lee, and a new arrival of a veteran point guard Rafer Alston. These guys can take you inside and out side. No matte what you say the Magic are now top contenders. Except they are playing the Cavs. I expect this to go Magic losing in game 5.
Okay there the only undefeated team in the NBA now, it’s the Cleavland Cavaliers. No one has any doubt about LeBron James now. He has lead his team to the playoffs and is now the reigning 2009 MVP. Before you could say Lebron is just going to choke when the Cav’s get into the playoffs. Well he has shut all the critics up and is now playing top notch basketball. This guy has been rebounding, scoring and getting his team involved with assists. LeBron James is the whole package. We will just have to see now if he can still play this top notch basketball against a very good team. I see the Cav’s winning in game 5 and taking the Eastern Conference finals.
This is the team everyone’s been waiting for the L.A. Lakers. Everybody knows the Lakers the team to beat. How do they do it though. That is the question for all the teams that have played them. Yes the Laker’s had to push it to game seven against the Rockets and didn’t do they well against the Jazz ,but they still are amazing. I mean basically they have the clutch shooter in the game Kobe. All this guy does is want the ball to put up at the end of the game and he delivers too. On top of that Kobe has teammates he can rely on to score now. Before the team had to rely on Kobe to score way to much. Even though he didn’t mind scoring a lot. He en joy’s it more when he gets his team involved. If his team is in trouble Kobe steps up and keeps them in the game. So my predictions are the Laker’s take the Western Conference finals in game 6.
All those games previously before these games don’t matter. It’s these games that teams play for. The championship games. L.A. Lakers vs Cleavland Cavaliers. So who’s going to win. This is even hard for me to predict. I mean the Cavaliers have the young King James at there disposal and the Lakers have the experienced Black Mamba Kobe at there side. So which one of these guys will step up and lead there team to victory. It will be a close battle ,but I see the Lakers taking this one in game 7. The Cav’s will give them a fight ,but the Laker are just to good of a team. Plus Kobe wants one more championship more than anything. To prove to him self that he can win with out Shaq.Your new 2009 NBA champions are the L.A. Lakers!
