World Series Prediction
My prediction for the world series.

With the playoffs coming to a close as the Yankees beat the Angels last night, 5-2, the world series will be getting underway soon. The big question, who will win?
Game 1 starts with former teammates Cliff Lee and C. C. Sabathia on the mound. With the two powerhouse offenses these teams have, and the amazing pitching staffs, this series will be interesting. Myself being a Mets fan, will be neutral as our cross-town rivals and division rivals face off. I can see this game easily going 7 games, but I have the Phillies coming out on top.
I’m giving the offense advantage to the Yankees here, having A-rod, Texeira, and Jeter as their three leading hitters, though A-rod and Tex don’t have any World Series experience, I think they will still continue excel over the rest. Rollins, Howard and Utley are no joke though. Howard being one of the best power hitters for the past 5 years.
The Phillies have the advantage on the other side though, defense. With Utley, Rollins, and mainly Victorino out in center, to back up their staff, the Yankees are going to have to push to squeeze out those hits that are going to be necessary to win.
With the series opening this Wednesday it will all unfold eventually. The main source of runs is going to be mistakes the other team makes. Neither of these teams will hesitate to capitalize, and in a big way. The Phillies are one of the best teams that plays for all 27 outs. My prediction is the Phillies winning it in 7 games.

I agree. The Phillies have a better shot at winning if they play it right.
