Why Phillies Will Win the NL East

Okay guys this will be easiest article to write due to the fact that the Phillies have a six game lead over the Marlins, seven game lead over the Braves, and a ten game lead over pathetic Mets. I will give you reasons why the Phillies will win the NL East.

Phillies Offense: The Phillies probably have the best offense in the major leagues with Ryan Howard a former MVP, Jimmy Rollins a former MVP, Chase Utley the best offensive second baseman in the majors, Raul Ibanez who has found new life in Philidelphia, Jayson Werth who has emrged sinced he got more playing time, and the Hawain kid Shanve Victorino. That’s six really good offensive players who can carry a team when your pitching isn’y at your best.

Cliff Lee: Cliff Lee went 22-3 last season with a bad non-playoff contender team. Imagine what he can do with a team that can score six or five runs a night. I guarentee by the end of the sason Cliff Lee will have over 17 wins this guy will be the second best pitcher in the NL next Tim Lincecum. If Cole Hamels pitches better in the second half this will be the best one-two punch in the majors.

Phillies Bullpen: The Phillies have the second best bullpen in the Majors next to the Red Sox. The Phillies have a really good bullpen that give you four or three really good innings with Ryan Madson, J.C Romero who is in the 15-Day Dl but he will be back, and Brad Lidge the closer. You really feel good in your have a lead and your bullpen is pitchinG 2 or three innings and not give up any runs.
