October baseball for the Cubs never looked worse. I know it’s easy to rip on the Cubs, but when you’re supposed to have the N.L. handed to you on a platter and you coke, it doesn’t matter how good you’re supposed to be.
I don’t care about anything else than watching the Cubs fans pull their hair out and hear Wrigley field quiet as a morgue. You would think the assumed best team in the N.L. could beat any N.L. East at least once at home.
But what happens, they choke like they always have, well that and the Dodgers flat out beating them. That’s what happened, the Cubs didn’t loose, the Dodgers flat out played them. Besides the 4 errors in game two, the Dodgers have shut them down.
The Dodgers hit better, pitched way better and fielded error free. The Cubs didn’t loose, the Dodgers won. The Dodgers have the second best ERA in the majors this year. It’s no coincidence that they shut down the Cubs. They’ve been doing it all year long. So give credit where it’s due. Don’t overlook what the Dodgers have done all year, their the real deal.
From the second Manny was traded the only thing I’ve been waiting for is Dodgers-BoSox World Series reunion and now their just one step closer. Oh, and as a Cardinals fan I’ve loved every minute of the Cubs demise way too much.
