New York Mets Mockery
My thoughts on the image that is being displayed by the media on the NY Mets.

It is unbelievable the ineptitude that is published these days. I just stumbled across an article on yahoo that makes a mockery of the NY Mets for a patch signifying their inaugural season at CitiField 2009. The patch can be easily matched to the same as of the Dominoes Pizza logo, and is being smeared all across the Internet. This kind of media exposure is yet another example of how much crap they’re publishing this day in age. In the same article they ask how does it compare to the Yankees logo, and this is what set off the alarm in my head, Growing up a Mets fan in the Bronx is hard. The reason why i say so is because of all the abuse Yankee fans have thrown our way, I say we will have the last laugh. Joke about our patch, joke about not getting big names this offseason, you can even joke about choking last season, but in the end The mets will have the last laugh. So in regards to the patch, Its just a patch! This is baseball people not a fasion show, when we touch that field day in and day out we will answer all of you out there and amaze you at the sound of the crack of the bat you will see the boys of summer have return.
