Manny Ramirez has been an Albuquerque Isotope for two segments of two minor league baseball games and has looked anything but impressive reaching first base on a walk.

The rest of his three at bats include an introductory welcome to the minor leagues strikeout and two ground outs. Is this the same guy who demands massive sums of money for performances that any Little League player could do just for grins.
It seems that without steroids Manny Ramirez is a regular guy who does not deserve the money he commands. Professional athletes should be allowed to take steroids as a part of their job because the fans do not want to pay money to see what anyone with basic motor-skills can do. Then again if anyone juiced they could be doing what these “super stars” do via performance enhancing drugs. It ruins the game and makes the triumph of an athlete rise above and making a play seem easy and therefore meaningless.
On a positive note Manny has autographed many items for children and anyone else who was willing to ask.
