This World Series is the 105th of the Major League Baseball Championships. The best-of-seven games will be played by the champions of the American League and the National League.
The 2009 World Series in planned to start 28th October 2009, which happens to be the latest start to the series in the history of the World Series. Also for the first time in history, the Series should end in November, depending on the weather and delays.
For the tenth year on the trot, Fox are televising the World Series along with Tim McCarver providing analysis and Joe Buck calling play by play.

Game 1 – Wednesday, October 28 – 7:57 pm EDT
Game 2 – Thursday, October 29 – 7:57 pm EDT
Game 3 – Saturday, October 31 – 8:30 pm EDT
Game 4 – Sunday, November 1 – 8:30 pm EDT
